Finance

The Finance Committee, chaired by the Treasurer, is responsible for overseeing the financial health and integrity of the North Fulton Area Section. The committee includes the Financial Secretary and the Chair of the Ways and Means Committee. Together, they support budgeting, financial planning, and fiscal oversight to ensure resources are aligned with the section’s mission and priorities. The committee also reviews financial reports and supports compliance with financial policies and procedures.

The Membership Committee is responsible for driving member engagement and growth. Key duties include leading recruitment efforts, organizing membership drives, conducting new member orientations, and promoting hospitality. The committee also fosters community through social activities, member spotlights, birthday and achievement recognitions, and provides ongoing spiritual support to ensure members feel connected, valued, and inspired.

The Programs Committee is responsible for promoting and executing initiatives implemented by NCNW National Headquarters and the State of Georgia NCNW. This committee leads the execution of the North Fulton Area Section’s strategic plan and ensures that all programming is aligned with our mission and vision. Responsibilities include tracking and communicating program impact through timely reporting, evaluating program effectiveness, and measuring community impact. The committee works closely with Committee Chairs to support and strengthen initiatives across all focus areas.
Social Justice*
(CORE FOUR) Promotes civic engagement in our communities, and advances public policy that improves the conditions of women and families of African descent. Primciples of Social Justice include:
Access to Resources - Healthcare, food, housing, education, recreation;
Equity - Ensure fair and impartial access for all;
Participation - Increase visibility and civic engagement;
Diversity - Ensure representation of women of African descent in all segments of society;
Human Rights - Civic, political, economic, cultural, legal.
Technology

The Technology Committee is responsible for managing the North Fulton Area Section’s digital presence and virtual tools. This includes maintaining and updating the website, managing social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and supporting the execution of virtual meetings and events by facilitating Zoom. The committee ensures consistent, timely, and engaging communication that supports the section’s outreach, visibility, and mission.
Ways & Means

The Ways and Means Committee is responsible for leading fundraising efforts to support the programs and mission of the North Fulton Area Section. This includes planning and executing fundraising activities throughout the year to ensure the financial health of the organization. The committee also manages our signature annual fundraiser, Women of Purpose, which honors local women making a difference in the core four areas of Health Equity, Education (STEM/STEAM), Economic Empowerment, and Social Justice. Through its work, the committee helps sustain and expand the impact of our section in the community. The committee also identifies potential donors, prepares and submits grant applications.
